Dear RLAS-116 Families & Staff,

The RLAS-116 World Language Department invites you to participate and volunteer your time and talents during our 2023 World Language Night, to be held on Tuesday, April 18th from 6:00-9:00 pm. 

The Inaugural World Language Night hopes to inspire all students and members of the Round Lake Area to enjoy the diversity of our community and the perspectives of our world. Students in our program work hard to master their language skills, and they also engage in critical reflection of differing perspectives throughout the world. We would like to take an evening to show off not only their learning but to exhibit the richness of our community, where more than 30 languages are represented!  

We are reaching out in hopes of your participation, and volunteering of your time and talents. We are looking for RLAS-116 families and staff who would like to showcase their culture at this event through recipes and food, artifacts/crafts, music, or other things you could share with the community during this event.  

If you would like to participate, please complete this survey by Friday, January 27, 2023. 

The World Language Department will be contacting you shortly with more information about the specifics of this event.

Estimadas Familias y Personal de RLAS-116,

El Departamento de Idiomas del Mundo de RLAS-116 lo invita a participar y ofrecer sus talentos y su tiempo como voluntario durante nuestra Noche de Idiomas del Mundo 2023, que se llevará a cabo el martes 18 de abril de 6:00 p.m. a 9:00 p. m.

La Noche Inaugural de Idiomas del Mundo espera inspirar a todos los estudiantes y miembros del área de Round Lake a disfrutar de la diversidad de nuestra comunidad y las perspectivas de nuestro mundo. Los estudiantes de nuestro programa trabajan arduamente para dominar sus habilidades lingüísticas y también participan en la reflexión crítica de las diferentes perspectivas en todo el mundo. ¡Nos gustaría tomar una noche para mostrar no solo su aprendizaje, sino también para exhibir la riqueza de nuestra comunidad, donde están representados más de 30 idiomas!

Nos acercamos con la esperanza de obtener su participación y el voluntariado de su tiempo y talentos. Estamos buscando familias y personal de RLAS-116 que deseen mostrar su cultura en este evento a través de recetas y alimentos, artefactos/artesanías, música u otras cosas que puedan compartir con la comunidad durante este evento.
