We are pleased to offer a Robotics Club at Beach School for grades 2-5. The purpose of the club is to offer students an opportunity to have fun and learn some very basic programming and robotics. The club will use LEGO WeDo 2.0 kits.
During club meetings, the students will learn to use the components of the kits to build robots and learn to program their robots. After they have mastered basic programming, club meetings will involve the students in programming their robots to accomplish tasks and solve challenges. Problem solving and logical thinking skills will be emphasized.
- Grades 2-3
- Thursdays: September 21- November 9
- 3:00-3:45
- there is no bus service available. Students must be picked up at 3:45 either by car or walking. If given permission, your student may walk home alone.
- Signed permission slips should be turned in to Mrs. Horn or Mrs. Hagstrom by Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
- Grades 4-5
- Thursdays: January 11 - February 29
- 3:00-3:45
