Ms. Faloona

I am excited about joining the Round Lake community! I attended George Washington University in D.C. where I focused on political theory, African-American history, and cultural studies. While studying education at Northwestern University, my master’s research project focused on how student choice and agency facilitate greater student engagement. My historical interests include historiography and the intersection of race, gender, and class within social studies. I strive to collaborate with students, families, and community members to foster a relevant, responsive, and empowering learning environment.
