Welcome! My name is Ashley Stivers, and this will be my 11th year teaching high school English. I grew up in Gurnee, and I completed my student teaching at Round Lake High School in 2010. I spent the last 10 years teaching in Arizona, and I have taught freshmen through senior English as well as ESL classes. I graduated from Illinois State University with my undergraduate degree in Secondary English Education. I also have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in ESL from Concordia University Chicago and a second master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. I have been married for 8 years and have two girls, Summer (3) and Mia (1). We just moved to Lake Villa, and we are happy to be back in Lake County. I love reading, playing board games, and going to baseball and basketball games. I love getting to know my students, and I look forward to meeting all of you!
