My teaching career began with six years teaching ESL in Taiwan. Upon returning to the States, I was determined to get into education, and so I pursued my MAT and teaching licensure from North Park University. During this time, I spent three years as an Instructional Assistant at Mundelein High School. I spent the 2018-19 school year as a reading intervention teacher at Waukegan High School. While teaching at Waukegan, I wrapped up my ESL endorsement, and here I am!

 

Having made quite the journey to arrive at Round Lake High School, I cannot overstate how enthusiastic I am to be a Panther!

 

I am married and have two children, a three-year-old daughter and four-month-old son. I spend most of my free time with family, and am also passionate about reading, music, and chess.

 

This year, I am teaching Sheltered English 1, ESL 3 Reading, ESL 3 Writing, ESL 4 Writing, and co-teaching a Health class.
