Hello, My name is Mrs. Storms and I am a fourth grade teacher at W.J. Murphy Elementary School in Round Lake Park, IL.  I have been teaching in the district since August of 2004.  I have worked in various schools and at different grade levels throughout Round Lake District 116, but spent the majority of my time here at Murphy in Fourth!  As a shy student myself, my goal and desire is to make learning fun, fast and easy while maintaining high levels of expectations for all my learners.  I teach all subject areas, but my favorite is Math!  I always felt math is an opportunity to be challenging and fun.  Discovering new ways to look at numbers is exciting and I love seeing students' eyes shine when mastering a new and challenging concept!  I am married and have three amazing children, two of which serve in the US Army. I am very proud.  I also have three step children.  Watching them grow and develope into young adults is a privelegde.  I am very fortunate to be a part of their growth into young adults.  I have two dogs and two cats.  My hobbies include walking outdoors and quilting.
