I have been teaching in Round Lake Area Schools for 30 years.  Those years include kindergarten, 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd grades at Village, Beach, EEC, and Pleviak School.  I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Western Illinois University, along with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from National Louis University. I am married and have four sons that keep me very busy outside of school.  When I am not teaching I enjoy baking, shopping, traveling, taking long walks with my dog Daisy, and spending quality time with my family. I love to watch my students grow and learn during their very special kindergarten year!
