• Beach Elementary Student Council for grades 3-5

    THE FIRST MEETING WILL BE THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH  

     

    What is the Student Council?

    A Student Council is an organization made up of students.  They represent the students of the school and work with teachers and administrators to promote community service, school spirit and pride. They also sponsor special projects and activities that bring awareness to the school community and provide students with opportunities to help others. 

     

    What Activities Does the Student Council Do?

    The Student Council is involved in many activities throughout the school year that will help others, at Beach School and our community.  A few of these activities we have done include  Morning Announcements, Spirit Wear Days, Spirit Weeks, Beach School Newspaper, Feed My Starving Children, Pennies for Pasta, Round Lake Homecoming Parade, Caring Candy Canes, School jobs, WE day, Red Ribbon Week, and support the  PTO, as well a family nights. During the meetings, the Student Council students will discuss ideas for new projects and activities that will further help the school and community. 

     

    Other Information: 

    • Student Council is for grades 3-5.

    • Permission slips are needed to join the Student Council. They are available from Mrs. Ogden Room 21.

    • We meet in room 21 from 3:00-3:45pm.  Dates of meetings will be shared at the first meeting.
