The information below contains details for the Communications section of the Return to In-Person Learning Plan. Click on a tab to learn more about the section's details.
Decision to Enter Hybrid Learning Plan
The District will continue to seek guidance from the State of Illinois and applicable health agencies, monitor local health metrics and any positive cases of COVID within our schools. Parents/Guardians should be prepared in the case that a decision must be made to move into a Hybrid Learning model. All efforts will be made to provide as much advance notice as possible in the event this is necessary.
Emergency Contact Updates
It is essential that all parents/guardians update their contact information in Infinite Campus. Emergency contacts should also be updated. School representatives must be able to contact you in the case of an emergency while your child is within our buildings.
Positive COVID Cases
If the school encounters incidents where an individual with a confirmed case of COVID has been on-site, communication procedures are in place to notify families and staff who may have been in close contact.
Reporting of Illness
Families are responsible for reporting any COVID-like symptoms to their child’s school immediately. The school nurse will communicate isolation or quarantine requirements. Students may not return to school until the established isolation or quarantine period has been completed. Alternate learning plans will be in place for students required to isolate or quarantine.
Revisions to the Return to In-Person Learning Plan
This handbook has been developed with the intent to provide all available information related to the 2021-2022 Return to In-Person Learning Plan in one location. Revisions may be made when necessary and will be communicated on a regular basis.
