Welcome,

I was born and raised in Zacatecas, Mexico. My family and I came to the United States when I was 12.  I went to Vernon Hills middle school and Mundelein High School.  Then, I completed High School in Round Lake.  In 2008, I graduated from the College of Lake County with an Associates of Arts Degree in Education.  Then, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in 2013 at Kendall College (University).  My first education experience started at Mano a Mano (A family Resource Center) for 2 years.  Then, I taught Pre-School at the Goddard School in Third Lake for 6 years.  Finally, I then started teaching at Pleviak Elementary since 2014 and it has been a pleasure to be a bilingual teacher and to be able to enjoy working with our community.
