Dean of Students 

I am happy to be starting my second year as Dean of Students.  I have 17 years of educational experience working as a School Counselor and Behavior Specialist in Illinois public schools and at international schools in Greece, Peru, and Germany.   I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University, master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and a master’s degree in School Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. 

Assisting students to develop a genuine appreciation and respect for themselves, others, and their surroundings occurs through an open sharing of ideas.  I would hope to learn as much from my students’ culture and way of life as they would learn from me as their educator.  I look forward to helping Magee students navigate their Middle School years.
