Ms. Donna Feltner
I am a Teacher in the Round Lake Transition Program. I graduated from Millikin University in Decatur and received my License Behavior Specialist I Endorsement from Univeristy of Phoenix. I have been with the Round Lake Transition Program since 2017. My community work experiences and life skills teaching are extensive. I come from years of work in profit and non-profit businesses, followed by 11 years with SEDOL (Special Eduation District of Lake County). I bring experience and knowledge to the Round Lake Transition Program I have gained as part of Transition Program teams with local districts, outplacement sites and through SEDOL programs.
My goal, as a Transition Teacher, is to help prepare young adults (ages 18 to 22) to become participating members of their communities. I assist Transition students in having the necessary life skills to reach their highest level of independence in the world of post-secondary education, independent living and employment.
Please feel free to email or call with questions!
I am looking forward to a continued great year of increasing students' levels of independence in the community!∴
