Mrs. Stephanie Carlson
Hello!
My name is Mrs. Stephanie Carlson, and I'll be your science teacher this year! I thought I should introduce myself since we will be spending a lot of time together learning the amazing subject of science.
I have been teaching since 2006 and have been lucky enough to do what I love at Round Lake High School since 2015. I earned a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Illinois (Champaign/Urbana). I-L-L .... I-N-I! Before attending U of I, I earned a transfer degree at CLC (College of Lake County).
For those of you high school students who are in a relationship, imagine sticking by that person and dating for 11 years. That is what I did! My husband and I met our senior year of high school in AP Biology class and became great friends in 1999. After attending senior prom together, we starting dating and the rest is history. We now have a daughter, Madeleine (Maddie) who was born in 2014 and could not be happier.
Now that you know a little about me, I cannot wait to learn about you as we traverse the journey of learning Biology or Anatomy together.
