I have been a teacher in Round Lake for over 15 years.  Currently, I teach 8th Grade Langugae Arts.  Teaching is not my first career.  After recieving a BA and MA in Literature from DePaul Univesity I worked at Northwestern Universitry and the American Library Association.  I returned to school, attending Trinity University, to earn a teaching certificate.  My teaching career started at Round Lake Middle School, but moved to John T. Magee Middle School when it reopened.  It is a pleasure to get to know the students and families of the Round Lake Community.
